Sonic Mania is an amazing game! The art style and level design is peak. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is the low effort port. They did put in the work to make it smooth and accurate but the controls are sort of wonkey (especially on the Blue Spheres stages) and the menus are super unprofessional and duct taped together. It works fine but could be better. Edited

been waiting for like a years for this game to come to mobile thanks Netflix for this your the best! one issue the controls are a little behind which really impacts the special stage games because the turning is like 20 milliseconds behind which is usable but is a little different, and i get hit by enemies a lot because my spin dash move is late, also if possible can you guys make a setting to make the controls bigger just like it is in sonic2 mobile? that would be game changing thanks again!

Thank you, Netflix. Controls can be a bit wonky using touchscreen, but not unplayable. Really, the only time I struggled with it is in some of the bonus games. Particularly "collect the blue orbs." Otherwise a great port of a great classic.

There's this weird issue that if you connect or disconnect from a Bluetooth device, the character sfx will go mute. Also, I am begging for a change in controls. Have an option to remove/change the analog touch controller and have a d-pad or d-pad like alternative instead. Makes the game more frustrating than challenging to play (Ray is literally unplayable).

It's great, equivalent to the quality of it being on console. It still holds up to being a great successor to the 1990's Sega Genesis Games, binging in nostalgic levels from Sonic's past while also including a few originals into the mix. It's a great game for new and returning fans. There is only 1 small issue, however. The method of control is a bit wonky. Some might say it makes the game difficult to play. Nonetheless, this is still a great game on Netflix's mobile plan.
