The app is a great addition to the game—especially for organizing meetups and sharing friend codes. However, the notification system needs improvement. Despite disabling alerts for several groups, I still receive unwanted notifications. I've tried a few fixes, but ultimately had to turn off notifications entirely. Hoping this gets resolved in a future update!

When it works, it's great. However, the inconsistent options & functionality are more frustrating than fun. Lighting flares/hosting raid, (which despite doing everything right, none can see/interact with me; so buggy and little to no instruction to do thess successfully!), sharing a catch card directly from Pokemon Go to Campfire (works about 3% of the time...🤦♀️🤷♀️), and a misdirect of unreliable Power spots, and sometimes even raids on map. Dev's, please step up and fix these issues ASAP!

Notification settings don't do what they are supposed to. You get notifications for things you disable and the app fails to send notifications for the things you actually want. It is also fairly buggy in other ways and is one of the worst methods of communication possible. Edit: Many months later, it is still broken in the same ways. Edit: I previously mentioned a lack of a raid filter and difficulty finding nearby raids. Since then, a raid filter within a certain radius and improved search functions have been added. Useful features include contacting lucky friends to setup trades and finding local groups for big events. Since the App first hit the app store, there have been significant QOL updates, and I look forward to seeing how Campfire will continue to improve for its expanding user base. Edited

I really like the app for a variety of reasons, especially connecting users. However, it could be more user friendly by fixing things like member search and adding things like the ability to sort group members. It would also be nice if you could link Campfire messaging to POGO, so you can click a friend and message them without having to search for them on Campfire, which also doesn't seem to work. Edited
