Why is it so hard to make a decent Cribbage game? I have yet to find one I like. This one has a clunky interface, show processing, terrible artwork (the card faces are difficult to read), and every game is clearly predetermined - I can tell within the first 3 hands who's going to win. I've literally done this with 100% accuracy in every game I've played. On the plus side, you get lots of 30 second breaks from their awful artwork since there's an ad after almost every hand.

Hi, I appreciate your thoughts, but your review has me wondering if you are reviewing the correct game? My game is Cribbage Club, and I don't show ads between hands. There is an ad before and after each game (unless you are a VIP member), but if you play a game straight through, there aren't ads during the game. Best, Mike [email protected]

Decent cribbage app. My main peeve is the occasional challenges they have like the current New Year Challenge. The player at the top of the leader board currently has 515 pts which is quite impossible without some type of cheating. That's an average of over 73 points a game. That can't be done with the points system used. You would need to double skunk the ai opponent every game. I've played over 800 games and have only seen one double skunk.

Hi, Well, 515 is a great score, but it is certainly possible. I can see the scores, and it's legit. Don't forget, there are bonus points for first win, consecutive wins, skunks, and double skunks. And the AI in the early levels is easier then later levels, so it should be easier to win bigger early on. Cheers, Mike

This is terrific. You can select to play against 1 of 3 different levels of players. There is a tutorial that teaches you moves as you are playing, and you can turn that on or off. You can have your score automatically calculated, or you can calculate it yourself. If you go over, you only get the correct points. if you go under, you only get the amount you calculated. There are summary stats at the end of each game that show you and your opponents pegging, crib, and play points. I love it!

Good app to learn how to play cribbage. It's like playing an opponent with good skill and trick moves. But the visuals are horrible and it's only 3 ancient opponents to choose from by their levels. Plus it's seems to cheat for the hardest opponent (Anne) close to the end by giving her great unbelievable hands to play with. But its a great tutorial for beginners. It has good suggestions to analyze about what cards to keep or not. The peg sound and card shuffling makes it sound realistic. Edited

It's a little tight. Very computer"y"? I'm hoping to play against other people online so I just started playing. I guess I have to collect gems in computer mode first . Which I don't like but. I'm counting my own hand and I turned on " mugging" and the computer "opponent" miscounted, and I counted correctly, and won the point! So I like that the computer made a simple math mistake and I was able to earn the point for my alertness. Decent game so far 3/10
