The introduction told me everything I needed to know. Features are introduced as they're naturally uncovered, and it doesn't feel like bloat at the start. The power ups are fun and engaging, the rogue elements are nice and the gameplay is decently challenging. I wish the rooms had a bit more variety, but the enemy layouts themselves are nice. No driving after a few hours is odd but probably a good choice to differentiate the sequel. I'd play it! and will continue to do so.

*A good time killer but looses it's glory as it abandons what made the first two games fun, with a heavy focus on the difficult rouge-like and not the main attraction to the ETD series. *The driving part feels worse than the last two and fuel is worse than the first game along with getting anywhere or having fun. *The rouge-like has many problems that many fans don't like, it's really a p2w and some perks like the invisible watch and grav boots are useless and rewards don't feel that great. This game is a grind. Gameplay is interesting at first but gets repetitive quickly. Your progress stalls after only a few weeks of play even if you buy the $10 monthly bundle. Whomever said there are no forced ads lied. Each piece of equipment has multiple tiers to level: white, green, blue, purple, two higher tiers. You combine 3 of a tier to upgrade. A purple item you need 27 white. The next tier after that is 81 white items which don't drop frequently so it takes forever to level up. Edited

Fun game so far, but if you watch an ad for a power up and that ad takes you to the Google Play store, you have about a 50/50 chance of the game restarting, which then makes you have to open ANOTHER ad to get the power up you just jumped through the hoop o brain rot for in the first place. Unless you hit the wrong button on the startup splash screen, in which case you just lose all of your level progress. Good times. If this gets patched I'll give it 5 stars with the quickness.

slow , very difficult. the first 10 minutes are good, there's a story cutscene and fast paced gameplay, but after they ask you to rate the game it gets slow QUICKLY. you can only get 180 metal a day without ads, cash is basically useless, the loot boxing is atrocious, and the driving mode has nothing the original did .... literally it's a shell of itself, no fuel pickups, no gaining metal from killing zombies, and the rogue-lite mode is worse. it takes an insane amount of time, no story either.
