It's very beautiful. However on my pixel it seems to struggle sending photos / gets stuck "sending" sometimes the receiver will still get the photos, but they still say sending. I've deleted every message from stock / TrekSMS and re-sync'd with mild success, but it quickly failed again. I can not have a texting app fail to send texts. Edit, 3 stars was too harsh, and the developer is still active. Edited

Your carrier probably has a size limit.
Please go to the TREK SMS app's settings and AUTO COMPRESS MMS ATTACHMENTS and try the highest number at first. If that is not successful, decrease the size until it sends to find your carrier's limit.

This app is a great companion to the LCARS interface for the rest of the phone. My biggest complaint though is that I get a ton of spam messages with it that the built-in Android SMS app normally blocked. I wish it could use the built-in SMS spam blocking functionality without the need to download and install yet another app to do that.

Thank you! The app has a built in ability to block particular numbers. Also, if you check the settings under "BLOCKING" there are 2 other spam filter abilities to choose from "Call control" or "Should I answer?".

The app aesthetics are on point. if there were no issues, i wind give this app 5*. however, the app would recieve late text messages or they would not come in at all. the only way i found to receive new messages was to resync the database every time which is time consuming and the constant beeping is extremely annoying. i want to love this app, but i just can't until the sync issues are fixed

I haven't heard of the sync issue before. Do you have some data saving in place? Sounds are controlled by your device's media volume. Turn thaat down/off if you don't want to hear presses. I can give more help with your sync issue if you give me more details at

Sounds you can't turn off, every tiny thing you do beeps and with no customization in-app for the sounds whatsoever. App is unaffected by phone settings for interaction. I just want to adjust the sound (each individually, not all bad) and the lack of an option spoils a wonderful app. Muting the media is not a fix, it's an incomplete design. Total Launcher allows vast customization, people make it their own. Pairing with it an app with fewer options means I can't make it my own, you won't let me. Edited

You need to turn your media volume down or off. Sorry for no option, but this is the only way to do it for this type of app as far as I know, which is different from how it's done in a game for example. What you want is either impossible for this kind of app, or beyond my ability. I can't find any kind of documentation for it in developer resources

I love all this devs apps, incliding this one. Only problem I have is that I cant seem to send MMS picture messages, but I can receive them. I dont send pics very often, but it can be a real hastle to have to switch to another app or even a different number to send. Still, I love it and recommend it to anyone who loved TREK. No #mishaguyas Update: I tried the Devs suggested fixes, but the problem persists. It's disheartening, but I love and still use and recommend it anyway. Edited

Thank you! In the settings , change AUTO-COMPRESS MMS ATTACHMENTS from AUTOMATIC to 100KB. Then increase from there till you find your carrier's limit by successfully sent pictures.
