Would love for this app to work. Unfortunately, even after logging into my paid subscription account, I still get pop up ads after every headline I click on. Why am I paying if I'm still going to get ads? My second issue is the fact that those same ads won't close, the countdowns just stay at 5 and the close button stays grayed out. So the app is useless.

Trib has had a dramatic change in content in the past few weeks. Still good coverage of news, but lots of duplicate news; seems to parallel NPR stories from the previous evening. I still read the articles. Usually the off days are only 3 pages, often with full page ads. I miss the former comics...some were like continuing 'soap operas' which a reader (myself) followed. The new ones not so much...if you miss a day, no big deal. Nothing impels you to return. I recognize money is a big factor

The screen must be flipped horizontally, vertically, and vice versa in order to load each page fully. This is not user-friendly. Fix this..and the application will be stellar.

Disappointed. Signed in with paid subscription and still get pop up ads. I thought I was doing something wrong because I can't for the life of me figure out how to close the popups without closing the app and restarting it.
