Good way to pass the time. The mechanics are solid and the need to get further every time is there. It does get a bit repetitive the further you get during a single run. Definitely a two consecutive runs in a single play session type of game. More weapon options will help combat the repetitive feel during consecutive runs. Overall not a bad game just kinda boring which is fixable. The devs did a good job.

I played the free version & liked it so much I bought the game straight up w/in minutes. If you need a rouguelike fix & want some scifi elements & rng levels, this game is for you. It works well with Bluetooth controllers however, I don't think there's a page that tells you which button does what only tips in game. Left stick moves. L1/R1 cycles your weapons left/right, A/X cycles the weapons right. Y triangle opens inventory. Idk what button (if any) accesses the menu yet. Square/X fires. Edited

I think this is the better of the two in the series. Here you have ranged weapons & are pushed to want to explore & engage in combat. The sequel was taken in a different direction with cards which is ok but limits combat where you have to run into each enemy to engage. Running out of cards hampers combat too. The sequel would have been better if it had been an upgraded better version of this. But as it stands, this is the better of the two. The sequel just really doesn't work that well. A shame. Edited

I love this real time turn based action where the game pauses if youre not doing anything. Gives you all the time in the world to think before you move. Its like an advanced chess game. If you guys have any other games that follow this style of gameplay, please let me know. I want more!

I love the game. It is invigoratng fun and endlessly entertaining because every time I play through It's always a new challenge because of the procedurally generated levels.
