I've been using TS Pro since 2019, and it is easily the best and most reliable app I have ever used on mobile. I don't typically purchase apps or even premium versions of them, but the few bucks I spent on this back in the day were VERY well-spent. All of the features work wonderfully, and being able to transfer everything from phone to phone through the years has been a life-saver. I cannot recommend TurboScan enough!

20250719 - TurboScacontinues to be the most significant app on my phone not directly related to work. TurboScan is the single most important application on my iPhone or my Android phone. In both cases, I use it for everything from taking pictures to just remember something to making backups of legal documents. I've a nearly complete history of my range scores to developments in my saltwater fish tanks. The ability to rapidly email digital copies of documents cannot be overstated! Best app ever. Edited

2025 update: I still love this app and prefer it to Google. I compared a lot of scan apps and decided on this one. It was well worth it. It's easy to get a clear shot. Skew correction works great. Edge detection usually works perfectly - and when it doesn't, it's easy to correct since the app gives you a close-up of the area. Multi-page documents are simple. Controls are intuitive and right there in front of you, but the app doesn't feel clunky. Still loving it after each update.

I bought Turboscan in February 2022 and was using it happily together with Syncthing to automatically synchronize all my scans to my computer. This broke in an update long time ago as Turboscan now always saves the scans to its private folder. Extracting the scans is now a painful manual process for me. The developer should support this case, it cannot be that hard, just add a setting for the user to choose where to put the scanned files.

Pretty good. The pages generated are very high quality. It doesn't have as delay between pages as the last (free) app I tested, and no ads. The only possible negatives I can see are a slightly fiddly interface in generating the PDF file and at the point right after you take the pic, if it doesn't detect that you might want to change the captured area, you don't get that option and won't get it again for that image, so that part definitely needs further work. Still a quality scanner.
