Cool game! Has a good sense of challenge, but not an impossible difficulty level. Don't confuse this with being easy as it's not, just a gradual increase of difficulty as you unlock environments and content in the game. This game gives you a great sense of accomplishment as you learn more of it while still pushing your limits as you learn of new content to achieve and conquer. This is a great game to play in short sessions or in long grinds.

Dead Cells is my absolute favorite roguelike. It's gameplay is literally meant to be able to be played again and again, and as a result it is an exceptional time-waster. It never gets old, as each run is always a little different, where you try different combinations of weapons and hope for good luck in the randomized layouts of each area, so it's really fun trying to strategize on the spot to see what will make you succeed in a run.

shield enemies hard to kill and do tons of damage. No proper tutorial, lose everything when you die...note: after playing for a while, you learn tactics. Upgrades are nice. Still needs some more guidance. Also annoying fighting through each level again after you die Note: Kill. Die. Learn. Repeat. ^ again, its literally how the game works, so thank you for such an amazing game! Edited

Great game, pure classic. With Play Pass, the DLCs are free and nice to experience. So why three stars? I got a new phone, expected everything to go fine (I'd done gotten another phone earlier with no problems), but I'd just lost all of my progress until boss cell one. This is a huge setback; I'd no-hit Hand of the King, gotten the ability to play on the 5 boss cells difficulty, had a number of skins, etc, all erased. The updates also came out late, but I didn't mind that. Edited

This game is amazing. S Tier Platforming, Exploration and 2d action/combat across the board, the weapons all feel really cathartic in their use, the visuals are just gorgeous and the game operates on a hilarious premise that justifies the core gameplay loop in canon! Live, explore , fight, die, repeat; so on and and so forth and it makes sense in lore and is all basically slapstick? This game is IMMACULATE Edited
