I'm so excited to finally see Backpack Battles on mobile! It plays pretty much the same as on PC, but with a few extra buttons to accommodate the touchscreen. The text and icons can feel a bit cramped on a normal-sized phone, but there's a lot of information to display, so I'm not complaining too much. I'm also kinda bummed I can't sync my data with my Steam playthrough, but cosmetics and ranks won't take too long to build back up.

Awesome and addicting, just like the Steam version. Don't see any differences so far except that the controls take a little getting used to on mobile, which is understandable. Smart pen helps with moving items, but the only drawback is I haven't found a way to rotate using a pen, only fingers. Small price to pay for hours of fun. Progress is not kept from the Steam version, which is understandable. I love they kept the price low, no store/p2w, and respect privacy. Other devs, copy these guys! Edited

Wonderful game; best of the "backpack battlers" in every way. From the music and sounds to the gameplay and it's not pay to win. Every run feels unique and fun. The problem is regarding the ui at this point in time. Touch controls are finicky and some elements are just too small for fingers. Though it's still entirely possible to play, the 5th star will be reserved for when the UI is improved. 4/5 Fun game

Maybe I have fat fingers or something, but man these controls are painful, like a slight swipe the wrong way sends your inventory to pieces. Which I am sure they can fix in a patch or two, but in the mean time it is definifely a pain point. Otherwise, solid port in terms of content and gameplay as far as I can tell.

Played a lot of it on PC. The core game is still fun. The mobile port however is as lazy as can be. UI is not mobile-friendly, on-screen prompts still refer to PC/Mouse controls (e.g. "Right click to rotate item") and the menus are clearly made for bigger screens. Worst of all, account progress does not sync between devices. No quick round on the train on your phone and picking it up later on the tablet at home like e.g. Balatro. Not fit for purpose and the current price.
