Used to work great..now when I try to import from Google Drive it takes me to a screen to accept permissions, I click the boxes and hit continue, then it takes me back to the PromptSmart + screen and says "The user canceled the operation." I've tried to reach out to the app developers and they never respond. Not what I expect from an app I pay for every month.

I originally gave this a 2 star review due to the following issue, but found a suitable workaround so I upped it to 4 stars. If they take care of this issue I'll gladly give this a 5. I have a major gripe with this app. No Chromebook version/support. Chromebooks come with HDMI out so I can hook up a bigger monitor. Other than that it works fantastic, on my phone and tablet. But those dont have HDMI output, so I cannot utilize a bigger screen. The workaround was using a Chromecast to cast. Edited

Installed this app a week ago. takes a while for the text to start moving, but I can live with that. Problem now is that it KEEPS CRASHING!!! When I hit play to load the document, it stops and crashes. Tried restarting and all the obvious stuff, no joy! What gives!? Fix this, I don't have time for an app that isn't reliable and $29.95 is not cheap for any app!

Ok, so, holy smokes this is so much better than doing one paragraph takes, or scrubbing your own footage. I just did three 25 minute takes because I love this! My videos just improved 10 fold. I made maybe 3 or 4 mistakes on each take. 6 page script and nearly 30 minutes! Normally I would just record and repeat myself then scrub through the audio or footage. This will be a time saver for sure! Loving it! If you couldn't tell.

I installed this PromptSmart Pro app to my Samsung Android phone for creating a YouTube video yesterday because I was curious about the voice activated feature. I had been using the Padcaster Parrot teleprompter with the Parrot smartphone app for the past year. After signing up for the $3.99 monthly trial and using the PromptSmart Pro app for a couple hours, the app would sporadically stop scrolling to continue to a new sentence. Later on, the app totally stopped working even though I did a reset to default and restarted my phone. After much frustration, I had to go back to using my manual Parrot teleprompter app to finish my YouTube video. I got frustrated with the PromptSmart Pro app and then un-subscribed the app from the Google Play store. I don't even care to use it any longer even though I have 7 days for trial. This app is too buggy. My camera and phone was only a short 4 feet away from me in a quiet indoor room, so the microphone should have picked up my voice easily. I even installed an external Movo LV1 wired lavalier mic going from the phone and installed to my collar, but that did not work either. I think this app has great potential, but it doesn't work for me. Even when this app was sort of working okay, there was a delay in being too slow to scroll to keep up with my voice. I had high hopes for this app. I'm disappointed.
