I actually like this diffuser. when it works....it works. My issue with this app hence the 4 stars is that it doesn't always communicate with the actual diffuser. I have the plug in version; it's plugged in all the time and u bothered. I'll go to the app to check the status here and there and half the time it connects and the other half it doesn't. So I dunno what the level of the scent is. I've removed it and reinserted it and still it stays the same. Most times I just don't even bother with it

The Pura device and its app are fantastic. The website is very well done, and I've had nothing but good experiences with customer service. They've built quite a nice ecosystem around a nice looking and nice working air freshener device. The app is extremely easy to understand and program. Maybe once every 3 weeks, it will lose connection, and I will have to reconnect it, but other than that, it's worked perfectly. Note: we have a smart home with very well connected wi-fi in all rooms. Meh... The most current app update has had some serious issues that occur when the app is first opened (as in it doesn't open sometimes). Also, I've noticed that with the hardware (the device), bay one works better than bay two and I'm not sure if this is software driven. Overall, I get the feeling that not much QA is happening at Pura.

This app doesn't work. The diffuser is always "offline" and the only solution is to make sure to have the most recent app. But there is no way to update the app. So I constantly have to uninstall and reinstall the app and repeat the entire set up process just to use the product, which I enjoy when it works. Unfortunately it rarely does. Aggravating.

Poor UX, now it keeps crashing. This app was super difficult and unintuitive to use in the first place, then I downloaded their update on 6/24/20 and now the app won't finish launching, it keeps crashing no matter what I do, including uninstalling and reinstalling several times. I like Pura scents, but their plugin units (version 1) are quite defective, and if I need the app to make them work, but the app doesn't work, how am I supposed to have a good experience?
