I got The Dancer as a gift and gave it a go with my girlfriend. The box says ~60 minutes, but it wasn't particularly difficult, and we solved the story in 30. It's a fun concept, but it was fairly obvious which items went together, and only one chapter gave us any issues with ordering the items correctly. The app also had a lot of trouble reading some of the cards at times, and we'd have to hold them at very specific angles to scan them.

Unplayably laggy at times. And there's no method that I can find to rotate the screen. That sucker is locked in one specific landscape orientation, and you better get used to it. So keep that in mind if you have a preferred landscape positioning of your phone while you play (maybe you need/want a charging cable or headphones attached, maybe you simply like your buttons being on the top of the screen instead of the bottom; whatever your reasons). But the main problem is the BRUTAL lag. Edited

Don't waste your time, the app doesn't work. It claims my phone doesn't have scanning abilities (it does), and the game is supposed to allow you to put in codes on the cards if the scanning option doesn't work. But the play button is completely grayed out if the scanning doesn't work, making the codes completely useless! Worst app ever.

Wir haben eine neue Version veröffentlicht und ab sofort können sie mit ALLEN Handys das Spiel spielen - wenn ihr Gerät kein AR unterstützt, können sie jetzt einfach die Codes auf der Rückseiten benutzen und das Spiel im kompletten Umfang spielen. Wir wünschen viel Spaß!

Allegedly works with my phone (Android 12) according to the device check on the Play Store, but although it's playable by typing in codes the scan element shows as not compatible in the app. A pity as the first game itself is very enjoyable. Won't buy another story till the app is improved, though.

At 98 % this app is in a loop and does not continue to load any game I try to load up. I deleted my progress, cleared the data/cache, reinstalled the app, but even then it does not load the games I try to start up. Sad story, maybe that's the reason I don't wanna relay on apps for card games. Edited
