edit: as of July 13, I still can't log into the app. I need to log into the browser version of it to use! The app is broken this year. App is very broken right now. clicking on notifications or links off of Google will have the app not load anything. going into the app itself is VERY slow. I tried to clear the cache and reboot, but very little luck. Tried to install and reinstall the app, but it's acting like my account doesn't exist. I have to use the browser version now to even use Reddit. Edited

6/24: They clearly have no intent on fixing this. 6/13: "We updated our app with bugs". 🤬 App no longer loads. Those of us working on streaks have lost them because the app won't open. Started immediately after the latest update. Was fine until then. And yes, using the mobile browser still forces the app open so completely useless right now. There is also no way to contact anyone from the app because the settings are under your profile and there is no profile picture to use to access it. Edited

This app is pathetic. Basic features like setting auto playing videos to "never" doesn't stop all videos from auto playing. I've been using 3rd party reddit apps like Relay and Boost for nearly a decade and they make the official reddit app feel like it was a developers side project that occasionally gets worked on during their lunch. Update: The app is worse than ever like no longer being able to zoom in on images and no progress on implementing basic qol features from the dev team. Edited

It's still HORRIBLE! Now they changed the account switching to be about three more steps. WHY?!?!? This app is littered with ads all over the place, and now when scrolling through my feed it places in "you might be interested in this" suggestions that have nothing to do with what I'm subscribed to. It's low of features. Downloading images is a pain because they forced a pop up menu, that opens on the bottom. Not user friendly. Worst Reddit app ever. Edited

Buggiest app I've ever used. Every time you fix a bug, you create two more. Currently, I can't zoom in on photos. I mod on a snake identification subreddit, and it's virtually impossible to actually do things correctly because I can't zoom in on photos to verify details. Stop trying to make your investors happy and try actually make people want to use your service. Edited
