As of now, this game will get to the main menu and then crash out immediately after. If you can even get to gameplay, it lasts for a few seconds before the app crashes every time. This is unplayable. An update needs to fix this. If this becomes playable again however, this game is amazing. An absolute classic on PC, and the story and gameplay is so much fun. If only Rockstar would update this to work again. Edited

Edit: FIX for the crashing issue on my new Samsung Galaxy 25 Plus. I have to CLEAR my Google Play Services data to get this game to stop crashing. Done this multiple times since the issue comes back after a while. It gets the game working but I'm lowering score because doing this is inconvenient and annoying. Anyways: Solid port of a fun 3rd person shooter with a strong, gritty atmosphere and an engaging storyline. Controls arent perfect for touch controls but they still work. Edited

so i spent money to download and play this game. at first, it was awesome and worked just fine. best 2.99 i ever spent. now it crashes at the title menu. it is not playable. im not gonna lose sleep over 2.99 but it is the principle of the thing. i spent money for a service and/or product. and now i am not getting that. either fix the game or give me my money back. Preferably, fix the dang game so you dont lose the fans this love and love playing this game. Edited

Best way to play this classic for the story and level design.The shooting however is subpar. I accidentally chose the easy difficulty and there wasn't any way to change it once I started. With easy and auto aim on, the combat is a cakewalk. I ended up turning off auto aim, the ai and difficulty shooting made it a moderate challenge.The shooting would be much better with gyro aiming, too bad that won't happen. If you want the best experience possible, it might be a good idea to connect controller

Looks sharper than the console versions but controls worse. There's no crouch option. It's missing slowed down sound & graphical effects. Looks sharper & loads faster, but it's been toned down which makes no sense. If the PS2 could handle it, any modern device can. No shell casings, dropped magazines or character shadows. Using bullet time just isn't fun here. It's just much easier to run n gun. At least you can skip the garbage dream levels now. Where is MP2? This came out 12 years ago Edited
