This app is easy to use and accurate. I've calibrated it to two other thermometers in my home and it's spot on! Just what I was looking for. Thanks! Update: It's been a little more than a year since my review, I checked the outside temperature compared to the outside temp my local weather app shows and once again..Spot On. Still. To say too many ads would understate the gravity of the onslaught of advertising. Every adjustment even attempting to adjust settings users are 1st met with uselessly long boring 30-60 minute advertisements. Nearly impossible to use, much less evaluate the product. I understand developers needing revenue to function, but if the product is reliable and trustworthy, users will not hesitate to purchase, but this goes above and beyond any I had the misfortunate of installing. Don't install!

WORKS GREAT IN PRETEND WORLDS! When I opened the app, I scrolled through each one of the temperature settings. All three were consistent. I use Fahrenheit where I'm at and everything came out to precisely 80°. So, I took a hair dryer on the highest hottest setting and held on my phone for 30 seconds. (Literally 6 inches away) To no surprise, you guessed it! The temperature went down. Just like the law of physics says it should. Dropped it all the way down to 78° actually. Makes sense to me.

The app does not measure temperature. It reports it. The indoor temp is way off (83F to my thermostat reading of 70F), and it's unnecessary since I have other in-house instruments to measure it. The outdoor temperature requires a location, for which I don't need a special app. I can get that from my weather apps. In my area, there are many microclimates, so a report from a nearby station may not reflect the actual temperature at my house.

Read against using analog and digital thermometers also adding in heat index or humidity with the heat index applicator chart. This app on my phone so far is 100% accurate with what numbers I worked with off the numbers I had to work with off of the thermostat giving the current sensible temp. reading and the relative humidity reading. So far I love this app. I can see how it will work wonders around here at the house very soon. The elderly love an exact temperature. I can make that happen now.
