Used to be great, now ads make it unusable. I didn't have any problems for years. Now adds play everytime I open, when I try to close the ad, app crashes and I have to restart. I looked into paying to remove ads, but $15 per WEEK is highway robbery. $60 per month for a camera app is rediculous. I will now be searching for a new app to shoot and save compressed images. (found it!) The point of a SIMPLE camera is to not have tons of features. $15/WEEK is a scam. My default app does more for free. Edited

I got a used Pixel 5 from my stepdad, and was at first overjoyed with the camera-- until I realized that it had automatic built-in AI that ruins the pictures after I take them, with no option to turn off the AI. That's awesome made the picture file size so absurdly massive I couldn't transfer them anywhere. This camera app does exactly what it needs to do, and does it perfectly, without ruining my photos with AI. Thank you for making this!

This has GOT TO BE the best camera app in the Play Store. It's just like it's name says -- SIMPLE. No unnecessary garbage, like excessive settings that I don't need and can't use. Once I opened it, it had a similar layout and control adjustments like other camera apps. I get the idea they took the idea from you. Great work on a great app. Bravo!

This app seems to take better photos in low light than many more complicated apps. I had to take away a star though because it doesn't have a slider for zoom control. UPDATE: Had to take away another star because I just discovered that this app rotates video shot in landscape so videos are sideways. Also, be sure that the video resolution is set to one your phone is capable of. The default for me was set too high so it wouldn't record. Edited

Very basic camera (clue's in the name!) but ideal for my needs. My phone was constantly getting full from photos unless I was disciplined enough to use a photo compression app & delete originals, which I wasn't! This app is great because I can set the compression from anything from 100 to 50%. Sony camera on auto produced a 2mb photo. This on 100% was 3.8mb. 65% is decent quality for pics of notes etc & it comes out at 396kb. But it is a bit buggy and slow, with ads. Edited
