This works very well on my 2016 Nvidia Shield. I'm currently casting from my M1 Macbook Pro, which is on macOS 15.5, with no issues whatsoever. Initially I considered a different "free" app called airmirror, but once I noticed that the other app either wanted to run ads OR else it would cost me 1.99/month as a brand new subscription, I decided to find an alternative. Thank you for maintaining this app and for not falling into the horrible trend of subscription pricing.

I second what some say about Lite being a way to "try before buy". Of all the apps both open-source and otherwise this one is well worth the $3 I paid. Allows near-seamless integration with my AndroidTV to stream iTunes Music to my home theater setup. Need to test the video streaming/mirroring but it wasn't the primary use case for my needs. That said, options for that seem well thought out; it's not a blanket "one size fits all" with zero options to help with troubleshooting but instead has a lot of under-the-hood advanced options for those techies (like me) who'd be able to figure out an optimal solution via trial and error. Overall, I appreciate the attention given; well worth the try (via Lite Edition) that ended up with a no-brainer purchase shorty afterwards.

On my Nvidia Shield TV (2019), this app allows me to use AirPlay to not only mirror my iPhone, but also use it as a wireless external monitor for my Mac. Not only that, but with a bit of tweaking on the app side (setting the resolution to 3840x2160), and a Mac app called RDM which lets you set custom screen resolutions for all connected displays (including wireless ones), I can AirPlay at 4k resolution, something the regular Apple TV doesn't support. This app makes my Android TV a better Apple TV than Apple TV. It also does a bunch of stuff I don't need, like DLNA, Samba, and other kinds of casting. The app is quick and responsive (at least on my hardware), runs in the background automatically on startup, and even supports turning the TV on automatically when you're sending just audio. Absolutely stoked, extremely worth the $4.

This works really nicely to turn my Samsung Android tablet into a second screen for my Macbook. I tried it also on a Dell Chromebook, hoping to use that as a second screen sometimes like on vacation. It installs and runs and the config screen works. It appears as an Airplay display in the Mac's preferences. But the Mac cannot connect to it.

The features advertised do work. However there is room for improvement. Airplay streaming occasionally drops frame. It would be nice if there is an option to hide service running indicator in the notification bar. Furthermore the user should be able to enable/disable the autostart feature of the service at will as well as properly quit the service. As of now the service starts randomly even after selecting the quit option within the app interface.

Hi Kumar: If you want disable autostart feature, you need: 1, turn off AirPlay/Render. 2, selecting the quit option within the app interface.
