absolutely well done game and story! once I started it I found it difficult to put down, the graphics are smooth and easy on the eyes! the fights are gripping tough bosses you can't auto attack through you need to strategize and the farming is easy and worth it! sometimes the simple controls get in the way between moving quickly and trying to open chests but that's hardly a game buster! 5 out of 5 would recommend

It's a good and very playable port of the best JRPG of all time. However, on a basic technical level unrelated to the game, this app is poorly constructed. Most of the time, the game opens to a black screen instead of starting, or goes to the black screen after loading a save. It will run as normal if minimized and reopened, but without sound. Other times, it opens correctly and plays with sound, but I can't figure out a way to reliably produce that performance.

I didn't have much of the issues other people had described here. Most of the game run smooth for me. The only issue was during the endings, all the dialogue wouldn't display correctly and would stop without displaying the whole text. tapping on the screen would then display the whole text but quickly fade out to the next dialog box.

Spectacular game but the mobile controls are pretty bad and they removed various fmv scenes that are full anime style. bought here but ended up playing on my DSi instead because it is not pleasant to play this way. you would be better off using a DS emulator if nothing else. also, the quick save feature doesn't work 90% of the time so only use regular saves in save-safe areas. With all the bad reviews.. works completely fine for me. It did have a few hiccups with sound and sudden crash. Just close app and reopen and resume game tends to fix it. I do recommend clearing app cache after downloading. Besides this, I'm already 80% through the game. Saves works just fine. Controls are not that hard to get use to. Targeting system is touch screen. Overall, I'm enjoying it.
