UPDATE: lowering review to 1 star because after 30 rounds and a dozen emails to customer support, I've never heard anything back. so many errors in course data, tee box location, and even strokes gained calculation and absolutely no customer support. kinda regret forking over $100 for this, but I know better for next year Edited

18Birdies has honestly become my go-to golf app. It’s super easy to use, the GPS is usually spot on, and I really like how it tracks my stats and progress over time. One small thing I’d love to see added is showing what shot I’m on right on the GPS screen. It’d just make it easier to stay dialed in during the round, especially when I’m trying to keep track of things without jumping between screens. Still, absolutely a 5-star app in my book!

Great app for keeping score and comparing against your past self and your friends. Works well on my watch as well. One downside is that the app pulls in Google Maps and updates to the last overhead view. For me in Maine, it's July but all the course views are snow covered which really stinks because you can't actually see the layout of greens or anything properly.

This app is awesome for tracking everything, but unfortunately 18 birdies support is non existent. I've submitted 5 tickets in the past 3 months with needed changes to score cards/slopes/etc, and they haven't updated any. I've emailed their team multiple times asking if they even support it anymore, and they've never responded. 18 birdies is dead! Go put your stuff in somewhere else because your handicap won't be right, and you'll lose many years of rounds once they fully pull the plug!

Honestly, I often struggle with consistency. I believe my troubles deal with playing the golfer and not the course. This app gives me the shots I take instead of the ones I should have taken. I have used other apps, and although I question the GPS accuracy. I can not disagree with the actual shot and need to learn better course management and work on the consistency of my shots. Overall, this app, if used to it's potential can aid in helping me improve.
