Frustrating. No consistency between different sections. For the few sections where you can mark something as a "favorite", there's no way to get a combined map of those to help navigate thru the fair, or a way to mark those things as "done" when you do get to them. The map section starts with EVERYTHING marked and then expects you to figure out how to limit it to what you want to find. And again, no way to use that map to show favorites to help navigate the fair. Did I mention frustrating? Edited

There's not a lot to interact with on the App. Not able to star locations on the map to remember the places you wanted to stop. When reviewing New Foods, it doesn't even give you the Vendor name, let alone the location, without opening the website link. No way to open those in the map within the app. It doesn't help you with a quick glance at your map location when you're there and want to quickly see what is nearby that you wanted to try! Edited

Unfortunately this app has less functionality than the older version. There's no way to view your favorites on the map which leaves me thinking a paper version might just be easier this year. The new food listings don't show any information about vendor location. And for some reason if I add the app to my home screen the icon disappears and I'm left with just a gray circle.

The old MN state fair app worked way better! This new app is a big step down... I can't see my past favorite items. It doesn't show where my new favorites are on the map, so I have to constantly open each individual item I want to try or look at to see where it is. Big step down from previous app.

Next to useless while you could favorite different booths, you couldn't just show them on the map, it was all locations or nothing. It would be great to be able to favorite events and see them on the map along with start times
