Edit As of 9/24/24. It used to be perfectly fine and fun. Quick load times, occasional spikes but no crashing. One set of animals and just you, your brain and some animals. Now if you have a low-end device, (me!) you can't even get past the loading screen. I have been trying for AGES to launch this game with zero luck. How can I even give a good review if I can't play the game at all? Edited

the game is fun but the fights it puts me up against is insane. I didn't even know you could have a pet at 50 attack at the beginning of the round at base, especially not 2 pets with 50 attack and might i add once again, at the beginning of the round, without any other pets interfering with the numbers.

don't let the free to play tag fool you, it hasn't been free to play since the first set expansion. currently this game costs $50 to play, and that price only grows every set exapansion (since they insist on pricing them at $10 each) I've played this game since the first set and been with it through every expansion (despite the overpricing). it has been an enjoyable game over the years, so I may as well give it a 5 star rating, but it's not recommended for people without disposable income

Players beware, this game is substantially addictive as long as you can become comfortable with the many strategies. Unique creature combinations result in each pack having it's own vibrant meta, waiting to be tested and conquered. Once you're familiar with the game, you can begin making your own packs, allowing you to play sets of creatures and food that you personally enjoy playing with or you want to try out with specific strategies. Overall, this game is definitely worth checking out. Edited

A great, casual game that I've easily sunk thousands of hours into playing! It's been out for a little while, so the competition can get a little "try-hard", but it's still a very enjoyable experience after a little practice. The game has asymmetric multiplayer, so it's easy to pick up and play at your convenience without having to stay glued to your device. One of my favorite games from the last few years, and I'm thrilled to see the devs are still frequently updating with new fixes & features!
