I would give this 5 stars, but the thing is that my rating goes lower each time I lose a free kick. and I keep using up all my gems because no matter how hard I try, the goalkeeper has the reflexes of 2014 Manuel Neuer. its literally impossible sometimes to win a free kick. and I dont like how the rating goes lower even when I draw a game. it doesn't seem fair. other than that, great game!

Updated review. One of the best mobile games out there. I definently think the game is alot more fun to play now, and even though there are still times when scoring seems very improbable, I have VIP and save up diamonds to give myself many retries. The game without VIP is still fun just not ultra easy to win and make a name for you player. Solid 9/10 game that is frustating yet good, and I am excited to see what is next. 1 thing I would really like is goalkeeper customization please. Edited

This game has potential. My problems with the game are the following: - Difficulty becomes suffocating as soon as you reach higher levels, defenders become clearance merchants, and GKs are Buffon regardless of the team's level. - Hair customization is limited, facial hair color doesn't change. - (optional) Teammates cannot be directed by the player to make dangerous runs. - No practice mode to practice player shots, passes and free kicks without stress/punishment.

In 2023 this game was perfect, you didn't need a lot of crystals to rewind and you could play the game a lot more efficiently with the shorter ads. Nowadays it costs 5 crystals to rewind and you barely get any for free, there are more ads and they are longer, and you also lose a segment of match if you close the app midway through one. The game used to be perfect but it devolved into another cash grab. Edited

Version 1.18 made it so you can't restart a match. It's not about resetting to win (as the game is easy enough to do so of you "try") but instead it's limiting the freedom of the player. This game gives the player a level of creativity that others in the genre can't come close to. However, the "want" to try new things has been taken away by preventing players from leaving the app. An offisde feature would've been more enjoyable amd kept the causal aspect, instead of punishing creative thinking.
