Literally can't do anything in the app except search for artists without paying a monthly subscription fee. They should've just charged a one time fee for the app. If you're not interested in subscribing don't bother with the app. It's not a free to use app with in-app purchases at all. It's literally just a "download for free and subscribe if you wanna use it". It's a fun idea for an app, it's not worth $10 a month for it tho lol. Maybe $10 one and done payment. $10 a month is wild.

I get that gathering all of the data takes a lot of resources, but at the same time if y'all lowered the price to something people would actually pay, you'd get a lot more subscriptions. It's a common complaint in the reviews for a reason. Locking almost everything behind a paywall makes the app borderline worthless, too. Especially when the distributor I use includes some of these stats as part of -their- subscription.

Hey Shaun, a lot of the overview stats are available for free to gauge the performance of an artist or label profile. If you want in-depth track analytics, marketing tools and push notifications we require a subscription and definitely think that Songstats as a tool for music professionals is worth it!

The music industry is constantly evolving and adding new aspects. I had an issue when I first tried the app and the developers went above and beyond quickly to take care of me. So, now I'm changing my rating to a 5 star because time is crucial and taking care of an artists before they are established is something rare. Kudos for helping an artist on the way up 🤘 Edited

Hey Nicholas, sorry that you were unable to get your artist profile set up. Getting a '400 Bad Request' error in this context actually meant that we were unable to fetch your data from Spotify's API, so it was actually on their end that we couldn't get your data. In any case, I just went ahead and set up your profile - so everything is there now!

Looks great and you might even want to subscribe. But then you see the most ridiculous price for a subscription I've ever seen. This is not for small artists. Its wayyyy out of someone's budget y'all must be smoking something for even THINKING 100$ a month is a good idea. I will never subscribe for more features. You could have such a good app here, even ads are better than paying that idiotic subscription.

You are referring to the Professional Plan which is meant for overall market research and industry insights across all artist and label profiles. For individual artists, the Artist Plan is the best solution that gives access to all features.

impossible to login. The app is a waste of space, it's like they don't want to make money. every single time you try to log in it gives you a magic link and the magic link opens up in the browser but doesn't open up in the app. This is one of the most idiotic things I've seen from an app in a long time.
