I've tried, now, 4 or 5 apps in the search for the best widget. This one is the most disappointing, though, because I paid for the pro version and it doesn't work! The widget will not show on my phone. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, nothing. I also don't like the persistent notification at all. I wish I could turn that off. Regardless, with the widget not functioning, even after paying, it's not worth the storage space, so I'll be deleting it.

UPDATE 25 11/2025: auto update working again after Android 15->16 upgrade. UPDATE 22/8/2025: auto phase update now failed yet again. UPDATE 26/7/2025: auto-update of widget now working after several months! Loved this app from many years and several phones ago when it offered a live wallpaper including moving starfield as a background. Wallpaper then became unavailable. Self-updating widget was a good alternative... until it stopped updating on a OnePlus 11, after an Android update late 2024. Edited

I use this to keep track of moon information for fishing. I enjoy all the features and data, but I do wish that it also calculated when the moon is at its highest and lowest points, commonly referred to as overhead and underfoot. Would save time not having to mentally calculate the halfway point between moonrise and moonset.

Had a free version that had quite a bit before I had to factory reset my phone due to issues it was giving me. Went to find the free one again but it wasn't there. Figured since I loved the free one, I'd try out the full version. Has lots more than the other but still great as ever. The set-up is wonderful and easy to use. Definitely worth spending the money to have an app like this to use.

I've had this app for years and have used the wallpaper for that time as well. A moving star background with a live moon synced with the phases was always my favorite. Alas, it's no longer available on my phone (galaxy note 20 ultra). Idk if this is a samsung issue or an app compatibility issue, but I'd love to have it as an option again. The widgets alright, but the wallpaper was better.
