I've been using this app for a while now and I absolutely loved it to edit photos for my website. However, lately the app has been crashing in the middle of me editing a picture. When I go to it and I try to edit again, it'll do the same thing over and over again. Also, if it does let me finish editing a picture when I go to save it, it just kicks me back to home and the unedited version is there, losing all of the work I did on the picture. It's ridiculous since I pay for this app. Edited

Be very careful when trying to sign up for the free trial - I don't remember exactly what I clicked, but I ended up paying for a monthlong subscription while trying to do the trial. I can't go back and check (since my unwanted subscription is still active), but I'm guessing the app is purposely designed to trick you. (I've already deleted the app, so if anyone on your support team can give me my 8 bucks back, I'll increase my rating to three stars. Obviously not holding my breath there.)

After opening this, supposedly free, app I was asked to first create an account, choose which subscription plan I want to use, and give it permission to my contacts. When I gave the app the limited permissions to files I shared with it, it failed to even open any image I threw at it. Maybe the folks who pay hundreds of dollars to Adobe and the likes are used to this kind of treatment and quality and don't mind, but I guess I'll just stay with one of the many alternative good and cheaper editors.

Used to be the best app. Then they switched to a subscription model. Bad. Now the app crashes constantly, hang on import AND on save. Favorite effects reset to defaults all the time. It's become a garbage app with great features in it. This could easily be the one editor to rule them all. Easily. And it used to be for me. Now it's unusable, and basic features like HSL locked behind a subscription pay wall. I'd pay for the app, but never subscribe to a tool. Must subscribe to edit videos now too.

This is my 4th time lowering my rating of VSCO. It's honestly impressive how this app just adds more glitches. When using a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra: 1. Saving an edit causes the app to jump to the top of the imported files. 2. After you do that, you scroll down and it pull you into a random photo, when exiting, you get glitched to the top again. Very annoying. 3. Photos render as much lower quality In app than outside. You'd think they'd show you full quality considering your editing stills. Edited
