It's a really cool and unique watch face. But the complications need some work. The options are limited and the BPM is not accurate

The BPM indicator simply forwards the reading from the default health app. It doesn't measure on its own, it's as accurate as the built-in health app.
Complication selection is limited to what's been made available by your installed apps. Customizable complications support all available "short_text" indicator options.

Makes my Galaxy Watch 4 unresponsive, and it just freezes when I try to customize the watchface

Please clear all recent apps from your watch and reboot your watch to clear out any unnecessary background processes that can slow down your device. Changing to another face and back can also help.
Also check for software updates for your watch and phone, update if available.
