wonderful watch face but why it cant be customozed by adding apps on galaxy watch 6 ? When I added the app to the watch face nothing is changed

There are basically 2 different types of complications.
Custom complication: For dynamic values.
Custom shortcuts: Links to open widgets.
This watch face is an older design concept. Only custom shortcuts are used to keep the design clean as it is.
A custom complication for dynamic values would require a complete redesign.
