My review is. It is a little buggy and hard to play with the controls. But this is advice to anyone that had trouble learning how to do things went to the same boat. The little book helps you. It's not the best. It's kinda bad kind of vague, but that book it pretty much. Help me learn how to do most of the things by myself. I would just be born, wait to grow up and leave and do my own thing. Best way to learn fun.

The tutorial is pretty bad. It doesn't actually teach you how yo make anything. The only decent tutorial is making fire. This makes it so a new player sent to the wild is unable to do much at all. The game also starves you during the tutorial as well, making it even more difficult to learn. I love the concept of this game, but it is frustrating being hours into it and still knowing nothing.

Really fun, but controls are a little tricky to manage. Recommend for everyone. I just wish there were more "tutorial" play by yourself servers for new players to try out. The only one that was a good single player was the fire tutorial becuase the side tells you how to actually make the fire whereas the other tutorials you have to figure it out on your own. Book isn't too helpful for new players. Edited

The community is awesome, most are extremely friendly. The game is hard, and I mean really hard. And it takes a lot of time to learn, it's extremely rewarding though when you start making progress. Definitely helpful to look up guides, but if you don't there is an in game crafting menu that will help you along the way. Even better if you're born into a good family with experienced players. Worth the money, and worth getting the expansion to watch over your children, grandchildren, and beyond.

My #1 comfort game, been playing a couple years now. It takes a little while to learn the controls, but over all a 20 out of 10 for me! No matter how long of a hiatus I take from this game, I always end up going back to it again and again. The developers are wonderful, they always make new and seasonal updates for us to enjoy. Adorable whimsical graphics, a soundtrack everyone is sure to love and immense replay value will definitely make you feel like you got your moneys worth. Would recommend!
