I've been using mapchart for quite some time, and now seeing a geography game makes me quitw happy! though I'd say there needs to be in general a lot more. When practicing a lot, it ends up always being the same few countries, and I think there needs to be more countries that u can guess, and new different hints for guessing the same countries, so it stays fresh

Updated review: the issue of the map not zooming in practice mode has (mostly) been fixed in 1.2.1. This is a fun game! Thanks for taking time to respond to feedback, dev. Also I have a suggestion that doesn't affect my review. Maybe fine-tune the way the size hints work, because I got one that said "larger than Andorra", which only rules out one country unless I'm mistaken 😂 Edited

As much as I love this game (and I am thankful to the devs) I find two big issues with this app. 1st: the map cannot be zoomed (it happens constantly on practice mode); 2nd: the lack of text input is not what I'd like. Is it so intended? Because in the Web version it was available. Moreover (and this is not an issue of the app), the relative position of the country is sometimes bugged, for example: "south Africa is not directly West from el Salvador".

Game is fun. It has a global leaderboard, but there's a slight issue with that because there is a major luck element. You're given criteria the country matches, but choosing a country that meets all criteria but is not the correct country loses you points (~1,500 for the first 3 hints, then climbing by 1,500 each hint from there, plus time penalties). Usually, the first clue is something vague like *is in the northern hemisphere*, so to reach the top of the leaderboard you need to be very lucky.
