I should have read the reviews before purchasing! I'm a conservatory student and was going to use the app for taking pictures of the examples in my music theory textbook and being able to hear it played back. But after paying $20 for a year subscription, I tried the app and found out it doesn't work well at all! Even when I do all the right things they recommend, like ensuring it's zoomed in, has the right lighting, is aligned and straight, it still misses so many notes & accidentals!

It misses some notes here and there but other than that it's great. They helped me get my money back after some confusion with the subscription I chose. Not sure what other people are using it for but the price seems pretty good compared to what it's offering. Edited

The app is good, but the developer is not behaving like a human being. I honestly bought the Music Scanner app from the app gallery, updated the app several times, but after some time, the developer deleted the app from the app gallery and I could no longer receive updates. I wrote to support and offered to restore the purchase in the Play Store so that I could receive updates, but the developer refused and offered to buy the app again.

this app performs worse then others and on top of it will make you think it's a free trial but take a years subscription from your account without warning.

Sorry to hear that. The payment goes through the Play Store and you only get charged for the subscription you select and confirm in the Play Store payment prompt.
