I needed to reduce the space used by photos on my phone. I used the free Resize Me's photo batch convert on my Camera folder: Selected All, choosing the largest size of 1600x1200 pixels (to resize from the camera's 4608x3456). Just a few clicks, and a half hour later it had put the thousand smaller versions in a new folder, XnResize, which was only a quarter as big, then I copied the original large photos to my laptop and then deleted them from the Camera folder on the phone. Easy.

Brilliant! I really liked the PC version excellent tool. The Android version is Brilliant. Thank you years later the app still works well, although it is less intuitive to operate. 4 stars Edited

Used to be my one and only go to app for resizing my pictures. I recently made the mistake of letting it update now it doesn't work right anymore and I even have the paid version. Sometimes it'll only do two or three of the pictures out of 15 or so I choose to resize. Other times it won't even resize any of them

What apps should be but rarely are. Clean, clear and compact. What programs had to be in the last century, and still a virtue because they're faster and less prone to embarrassing wardrobe malfunctions. The biggest user plus is the ability to simply process batches, which you would think would be a basic but which you don't necessarily find elsewhere.

In a recent update, photos appear to take on a yellow hue to them. Looking at two photos side by side, the resized image is noticeably different and worse. It would be nice to be able to do custom ratios or have a 16:10 ratio standard as more displays have that ratio. Edited
