I was charged $52 with no way to refund or guarantee. I didn't select hip hop and I said I was a beginner and today was my second day of Hip Hop and it was advanced. I was supposed to be doing a lot of jumping but didn't. LOL It feels like they've switched me with a 20-year-old dancer. I emailed them and hopefully they will fix it. I tried to fix it in my profile but there isn't any way that I could find to look up my preferences or change them. I really like the concept of dancing to get fit. Edited

It's OK. the app itself is pretty easy to navigate. Not what I was looking for. the instructions for the dances are not clear. They tell you what to do as their doing it but it's not step by step instructions. I found it hard to follow along when the steps change and you don't know how to properly perform them. it's really just cardio with music in the background. The dances don't go in beat with the music and it just music - no words. Not what I was looking for.

This is an effective app for someone who is fully able bodied. But if you have any injury or disability involving, hips, back or legs, it's not very adaptive. Basically you can either do the exercises or you can't. It's not really dancing in my opinion it's more just doing multiple exercises to music. My granddaughter (15) tried it with me a few times and said "it was way to random, and kind of confusing"....I did like most of the dance clips in my challenge, whether I could do them or not.

Hello Tracie! We’re glad to hear you enjoyed many of the dance clips. We understand that our app may feel less adaptive for those with certain injuries or mobility challenges, and we appreciate your perspective on that. I got a 3-month membership, and I filled out the questionnaire to get personalized workouts. I'm a total beginner, and I picked the types of dance I liked. The Day 1 challenge was a style I hated and didn't pick. You can't even change the videos. Day 2 was another style I didn't like, and it was intermediate! I contacted customer service to cancel, but they won't give me a refund. Seriously, don't bother. YouTube has FREE dance workout videos and so does TikTok.

This is the first day I've used Dancebit. I was able to cast to the TV so it was much easier to see the workout. I never exercise, so it's time to start moving! I have joint issues in hips, shoulders, and feet. The short workouts were great for easing into this. It does get a bit fast for me, I am as uncoordinated as you can be, but I did them completely at my pace. I do want to find beginning workouts here that are a tiny bit slower for first timers who never exercised before.
