There's tapping sounds coming from the flat above but also traffic sound. I was hoping I could increase tapping sounds and decrease road nois. Unfortunately this app was unable to. It did amplify noises very well but more so noises close by. Not suitable for what I need my video recorder. It also triggered my malware detector and played high pitched noises till I uninstalled it. Beware! Edited

love it. Good service, I like it a lot, but the app update is tomorrow. There is no sound when I open the app. Then I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, but there is no sound. This app is good for the poor, even I, a poor person, can't. buy it. Please help or tell me a way so I can get it to start making sound again. way to much background noise from the app. when I say something it just echoes what I say for example I said oh my it starts off oh my echoes into sounding like I said oh no STUPID might be fun for kids if it didn't have so much background noise but it's not for grown adults plus I couldn't hear through any wall like it says. deleting the app DONT WAST YOUR TIME WITH THIS APP!!!!

Out of ALL the apps that enhance volume for evesdropping purposes that I've downloaded so far, I'd have to honestly admit that this is the best one. And it's actually FREE too. However other apps have silenced ads which I strongly suggest Spy Ear to change. Because their ads pop up sometimes loud as hell when returning to main page from the EQ, and they play over top of what you're trying to listen to which makes it extremely inconvenient. Would be better if developer switch to silent ads ! 🙂 Edited

Simple but it works great because it is such a simple application. It's easy to use and visually effective for slider actions and buttons and accessories like the 2nd screen equalizer which is also simply and brilliantly laid out. The bright yellow is a fantastic contrast over the black background and is very appealing to the eye. I love using it! And finally the sound it's better than good , but not quite what I'd call great. Some Fine tuning is necessary in order to be able to hear well. Edited
