I'm OK with ads. When I play a 2.5 minute game & I am forced to watch two 25 second ads, & when you click on the x that finally appears to exit the ad, you are sent to the website, it's ridiculous. You have to keep the volume off as the ads are loud. Even the ads at the bottom of the screen during the game are obnoxious. One kind of ad is enough. I usually buy paid versions of apps. This one is a subscription - you don't own the game. I am uninstalling & looking for a different version.

Just went from being a great game to terrible because of the horrible amount of ads that should not occur more than twice an hour. Forced to watch 5 second ads between every battle, then started adding 30 second ads all the time so you have to watch multiple ads in a row... Update: For $13/year, when this isn't Final Fantasy VII and even that's only a one-time purchase of $16. The prices are INSANE. Ads between rounds or to get tickets, NOT both. $2.99 max. Edited

Getting worse. Watch an ad before and after every game. Used to be short ads, now most are 30 seconds. Crashes a lot, losing progress on current game. Many times unable to finish the game for a few days. Force stop in game and restart phone doesn't help. EDIT went from 3 to 1 ⭐ Ads coming up even more often. Game locks up repeatedly during play. Lose all progress in games. Tried to reinstall, but still having issues keeping it running. Not worth the headache. Edited

I like the game, but the ads are really starting to get so tiring. The ads played are far too repetitive, advertise for terrible games, and are straight up lies a good portion of the time. If it was just a 5s wait and can skip, I'd be okay, but they've steadily been getting worse with adding extra screens to wait through before you can even start (or end) a puzzle. Good game, but because of the ads I can't recommend.

I believe this app's payment model is predatory. Rather than a one-time fee to eliminate ads you pay a fee on a weekly, monthly, or yearly basis. Weekly is selected by default and works out to $67/yr versus the yearly which is $12. The yearly total of each option isn't presented, likely to obscure this gross difference in pricing. Further, he ads have become increasingly common. But worse, every ad I've been served has an X under the Pixel series's camera, meaning they can't be skipped.
