Terrible app. 1. They never send you confirmation emails after registering, if you forget the address you've used (on a catch-all domain, for example) - your only option is to reset the device and loose all purchased keys. 2. You can't register on anything other than a common android phone. I have an android nav system in my car, and the "register" button is just not visible on a screen. First time I see such a terrible UI layout. Outsourced to idiots...

mostly good, but loses connection with the garage door from time to time which is irritating if youre coming home as you cant get in until you re-pair the devices.

App works well enough but you can use it on only one device at a time. If you want to use it on more than one device, they scalp you for £7.99 for each additional key. It must cost them next to nothing to generate any number of additional keys. Not what you would expect after spending several thousand pounds on a garage door. I ended up buying a Meross wifi control unit on amazon for £30 which plugs into the Hormann control unit. It works very well and can be used remotely. The developer always responds to this type of review with a cut-and-paste reply about the money being used to fund the app's development and taxes. I figure it's a bit much to expect customers to pay separately and additionally for the manufacturer's app development program - this should be a running expense borne by the business. Edited

Just paid over £2k for a door with the fancy Bluetooth motor and Hormann only allow one user. They want £7.99 per extra user. What a scam. 2 physical keys are included with the door, so the least they could do is include 2 soft keys to use as an alternative for people who don't want to carry around another physical device that is more likely to get lost or accidentally triggered. Another money making scheme.

Unable to scan QR code on device. Even if it worked, charging for virtual keys is nonsensical. Bluetooth pairing does/should not require an internet connection or backend server. How do you think your Bluetooth headphones (or anything) work? Given the cost of physical key fobs, I would consider just replacing the door opener. It will be cost effective in a few years once you've lost a fob or two.
