I used to play this game years ago, and it was great then. There's been some new additions that don't add anything to the game. The whole leaderboard system and going up through ranks feels absolutely unnecessary, and anytime you see something that says "watch ad for 2x reward!" you might as well press it because you're going to watch an ad 99% of the time regardless of if you actually want the double reward This used to be one of the best casual games on the app store but not anymore.

I loved it as it was before, a great time waster where you could hit a flow state and just keep chugging along. 5 of 5 stars. Now, there are "levels" and "challenges" and "rounds." I understand it, really, game devs gotta get money and all, but is there no way to give us the option of being able to switch between the free mode of before and this new level mode so we can choose? Of course, if I have to pay for said free mode, then boy howdy, count me out. Though I did like the new slope variant. Edited

latest update forced ads back onto account even after paying to remove them. the leaderboard system doesn't match the atmosphere of the game at all and makes it take way longer in-between runs . you also have the option to double your score on the leaderboard by watching an ad which also makes no sense. the addition of a ticket system making it so you cannot play for as long as you want is also taking this game in the complete wrong direction. this update shows how you ruin a game Edited

Each run costs a ticket that eventually runs out with a timer until the next ticket. You can't play unless you have a ticket. This is not explained at all. You can watch ads or pay for a ticket to continue playing. This is after buying the ad removal as well. Waste of money and time. If ticketed runs allowed your score to count towards the tourny stuff but you could still do non-official runs without I'd be fine.

The graphics and play are actually really fun and satisfying, but there are WAY too many forced ads. After every run you have to watch an ad whether you choose to (to revive) or not, then once the leader board shows, you have to watch ANOTHER ad, and it also makes you watch one when you try to change your skin. Not to mention the game also takes a while just to load and is very glitchy for the first minute.
