I've been playing this game for YEARS (You are NOT a "startup" anymore), supported through internment ads between games, which was fine. But in the most recent update, they added "game break" ads in the middle of a game whenever you complete a number. This is just a greedy money grab and completely breaks the relaxing flow of Sudoku, so I won't be playing anymore. Edited

$15 to remove ads? Are you nuts? And in the free version you're being constantly bombarded with ads so it's unplayable. Adding edit after response from developer: you can skip after 5 seconds but you have to skip 3 times so it's 15 seconds. Also, you get a new ad every time you switch apps, so if you receive a text message, open the message app to read it and come back you get another ad. I got 10-15 ads while playing just one game. Was a five star game before latest update. Found it very relaxing, even with the ads after each board completion and occasional taps on the ad banner at the bottom of the screen. Now you can't make it through a 5 minute difficult level without being interrupted with two or three "ad breaks". These "ad breaks" will even freeze where you have to exit out and close the game completely. Game play is frustrating.

I have played this game for years. Absolutely love the format and interface. I can accept an app having ads, it keeps it free to play. But after playing this game for 3+ years, suddenly there are ads in the middle of working a puzzle. Which runs the experience for me. I've seen responses to other ratings claiming they are a startup, which couldn't be further from the truth at this point. I could even live with that if going ad free didn't cost $15. Totally unacceptable.

I have played this game on and off for years. It has always been my favorite way to kill time or lull myself to sleep. It is a GREAT sudoku variation that i really enjoy. Over the years, I tolerated the ads between games because they weren't that intrusive. But they've started adding ads mid-game when you complete a box or a row :( It's very annoying and takes away from the game enjoyment. Genuinely considering uninstalling if it doesn't go away soon or if I find a better app.
