I had a bit of difficulty until I was able to change the interface from dark to light on my e-ink reader (I first had to find/use my reader's 'bleach' setting so that I could see where to tap ... But once I had ... this app is everything I'd just about given up in finding. If you have a large collection of ebooks, and really just want an app that will let you find books based on something besides author and title, this is it. At first I was really excited to see that the List function has a query string, so I didn't have to manually add each book into a list. Then I was even more excited, and happy, to find that with this app, I really don't need lists. This app read all the tag information that was saved when I uploaded my books from the Calibre library, and I can sort by tags. If I want to find a book in the Cozy Mystery section, I sort by that tag. If I want to find a Historical Romance, it narrows it down in a flash. The reader works for me. I haven't used any of the bookmarking, quoting, etc. features ... but all I want to do is browse through my books, find what I'm in the mood for reading easily, and start reading. It makes my ereader a library.

It's a great app, pairs well with a Dropbox sync app for quick access to newly added Calibre books. I prefer a different reading app, but it's able to open my books with it easily. If there's a feature list, please add these suggestions: *Allow more information in the book list view (custom info for series, brief synopsis, etc) *A setting to change the behavior when tapping a book to show more book info instead of trying to load it in a book reading app

It's really a wonderful app for book reading. I have a suggestion that please enable lookup dictionary feature to directly take reader to the selected option of dictionary. It's not very expedient to every time select a lookup option to go to an already selected dictionary. Please consider this

Updated review on 5/28/19 after initial review on 5/11/19. First of all Karl reached out to me after my initial review, and his communication and commitment to this app is definitely 5 star! Already he has figured out some of the issues I had and fixed them in a very short time. There is only one more issue left relating to exporting full ePub files with updated cover art, but already this is now far and away the best app for editing metadata in ePubs! Edited

There are a couple of export options available to apply changes in book information performed in the tool to books. You can export a new copy of a book file with changes merged into the book OPF file. Also, if you also use Calibre Documents Provider, you can merge changed directly into your calibre library. See the online docs for more.

This is one of the best epub apps., But when on a chromebook (HP X2). the upper bar doesn't go away, and is blocking the text. This doesn't happen in window mode, but in fullscreen mode.

Thanks for letting me know. I will see if I can duplicate the problem and fix it. Unfortunately, I only have access to Chrome OS in an emulator, but hopefully I'll see the same issue there.
