The app works decent. The new animations looks cool. Tape remains on the real at the end. Look into that. I will like to see the entire real gear with the same shade. Instead of half dark and half light. The VU meter just jumps around during playback and doesn't appear to be synched to the audio. I don't think the loud clicking sound on loading is necessary. It's just annoying to me. Clicking on play and stop is adequate. Lastly, the app refuses to load media files from my SD card. Nice effort.

Kind of feels good traveling back in the past since I was addicted to these things. It would be pretty cool if I could see the take-up reel actually fill up with tape and to have a fast-forward button with the ability to rewind or fast-forward and press play during rewind or fast-forward to hear old-fashioned Chipmunks as it gets to the position and to be able to set the counter by pushing the counter button reset no matter where you are in the tape.. be fun to have the tape eaten. The graphics on this app looks very realistic like the real thing. I would like to suggest a behavior that while it's playing a file while you hold down the rewind button, make it so that it sort of jams up the tape if you press more than one key at a time. Then when people quit the app or restart their phone, maybe the app would run right again, lol. But anyway this app works really good the way it is supposed to. 😊

It's fun turning back the clock using this cassette recorder but I think it would be more fun if you could move the "Load" to a corner of the screen like the menu is and replace it with fast forward to make it like a real cassette recorder to play/ rewind and fast-forward like the real thing and then that would be the motherload of having it almost perfect and maybe some different face plates to choose from such as black and maybe something with a magnification on the counter or what have you. Works well for archive notes I'm not usually one for leaving reviews but I like the app well enough the adds are a pain when trying to use it quickly but you can mostly skip them, besides that the ap works quite well for quick notes I need to write down later and has a lovely tape sound just as you start recording, really makes it feel like the real thing. Overall it works quite well for such a simple concept.
