About Twenty

Watch out for imitations! This is the original Twenty created by Stephen French. Twenty is a colorful arcade/puzzle game that starts at 5, looks easy until 10, gets fiendish at 15 and challenges you to get to 20. Anyone can learn it, but you'll have to concentrate to make it all the way. ... read more

I've lost many hours to this game. After 1x 20 it becomes a fun space management game, and it makes sense for it to get harder. But on losing, you restart w/ 1x 15. It takes 1 hour to get near my high score only to lose to RNG. Stressful, but clearly designed for casual time killing. If I could start at a higher score I've already hit, the stress would feel fun, but it's discouraging when your high score is behind an hour of stress with such a low chance of reward. Maybe skip if you hav anxiety.

Simple yet very entertaining game, and like many of the other reviews say, it's only a tiny price for the other game modes which are entirely optional. That being said, in the base gamemode once you get past 20 the speed constantly increases. it'd be nice if that speedup was decreased or changed slightly as it makes it near impossible to reach a new high score after a certain point.

Engaging, hypnotizing, no ads. The goal is to get to 20. After level 15 it's very hazy on which blocks get locked together. Too many blocks get locked and so you have zero movement even when there's enough time left to make moves. You end up coming up with strategies, and that is part of the fun Theoretically you could play forever as you get better at the game. I recommend the $2 purchase for multiple variations of the game, but I almost always play the free version Edited

I really love this app, but it is fast-paced and gets difficult very quickly. You can - sometimes - get to 20, and even get multiple 20s before you lose. I wish it had an option to run an easier, slower mode. I would like this to be an app I can run to chill out as well as an app I can run to challenge myself, because I enjoy the method of game play very, very much. I just would like to be able to enjoy it without quite so much adrenaline all the time.

I really love this app. Lately, though, I try to move any number block from the right-most segment of the screen and cannot do so for several crucial seconds. Anyone that plays this game knows that, in truth, seconds are divided into segments themselves. You have to move very very fast to try to get to 20. I use this game to gauge my own brain's gaining of speed & my increasing motor skill abilities. So it's frustrating to not be able to operate your awesome app he way I'm used to using it.
