I played the prev game and this one improves on every problem AND polishes the good points. Offline, no ads, no bundles. The art is good and the progression is solid, it always feels like there's something I *can* do, but I can also let it run itself for a bit. Sometimes wish there was offline progress but that would be involved so it's fine as is. The Town Traits mechanic is really interesting.

By far my favorite Kairosoft game, surpassing even the original. There's way more content in this one, and all of the same great structure is here. If the devs are looking though, I do have two minor gripes: 1) Too many pop-up notifications to keep tapping through, especially when you run a bunch of events and get multiple 100-pop +traits +new arrivals. 2) Gifting items in multiples is a scam. Saves time, but you're paying to get less satis/work+stats; too much penalty to be worth it. Edited

I played the first one and thought it was charming enough to get this one. It's a cute town builder, with two main goals: Get 5 Star rating and Defeat the Boss. I like being able to move to a new town on the same save, i love the new monsters and jobs. Everything is fleshed out and improved, no glitchy selecting buildings or npcs when you didn't want to. Very nice. Have been playing for a long time. Edited

It's a great little game by a company I love, it doesn't take IRL days to do things, no purchases or ads, and a well made little management sim, lots of stuff to unlock with progression. I can easily spend hours playing nonstop. However, If I have any qualms with it, and it's only because this is a paid game, it's that it'd be really nice to actually know what each stat does and to be able to see what your total monthly expenses are in the info screen so you aren't blindsided when they come out. Sad to give this rating. It is a great game with solid mechanics and wonderful art style... that is rendered completely unplayable by a comical amount of game-stopping, slow-animated, repetitive, and unskippable notifications. You eventually get a game-wide speed up option - that only speeds up the area map. The area map is the actual good part of the game. Notification animations are not sped up. So with the bonus you just get even more notifications! So sad this game is such a chore to play. Edited
