Pros: -The colour palette is really pretty, I think this is my favourite Kairosoft game aesthetic-wise -The combos are fun to find and strategically place -It feels like you're always unlocking something. Well paced. Cons: -The minigames are hit-and-miss. I like horse racing but the other three sports are kind of confusing -The tower defence is kinda fun, but sometimes the enemies and units don't act like I expect, causing a frustrating defeat -Not my fave NG+ system

A classic Kairosoft experience with enough new content and gimmicks to keep it interesting. The cities benefit from the usual combos of buildings, residents have stats that can be improved, there are contests for residents with mini games, and there's even a tower defense mini game with your city's streets. Heian even has multiple city maps if you want to do some extra play throughs. Good game!

another slap bang hur from kairosoft... but here's the spin on this one... it's has a majority - if not all- of the really good QoL mechanics adopted by the other games. honestly, one of my favourit3s and I have a few under my belt. keep em coming kairosoft team, and I'll keep buying!

Kairosoft games are the best! Heian City Story feels like a spiritual successor to Dungeon Village 2 (my favorite Kairosoft game), so I have to play it.

Awesome music and super fun tower defense concept! It's easy to learn and very addicting. In terms of graphics, it's very beautiful and peaceful. I also really love the pacing! It's much faster and can have you play actively and passively. For further improvement, I'd really love to see more unique characters. Compared to previous games, the villagers don't really stand out for me.
