The UI is very unpolished. There isn't a real timeline like in the web or mobile app. It's pretty clunky, but it's useful I guess to just quickly look at a photo. There's definitely room for improvement. Edited

The app is a bit barebones in its current state, but even now this is a must-have app for Immich users. It brings me a surprising amount of joy to see my family's pictures in their full glory on a large 4K display, and all without having to cast anything from my phone. Kudos to the developer!

Major difficulties in setting it up on the TV with the API key. Will continue to research the problem but the app is very welcome. I think it will be nice to sit with family and friends and watch some photos from years gone by.
