Okay so first of all, this is one of the best games you could possibly buy on your phone. I love it, it's super fun, the gameplay is great and it's beautiful. I do highly recommend buying it, however there are a couple bugs which the devs hopefully fix. A couple of times my character just randomly started moving left and eventually left the screen. Also, I currently have a save at the beginning of winter which keeps crashing a few minutes into playing. It reverts to a save, so i cannot progress.

1st run is painful. I only made it 24 days, but you know when things take a turn for the worse and should probably restart instead of riding it out. tips for 1st run. clear trees to expand. expand before building, because the monsters get fast and expanding left ceases to be an option after a while. push defense to the left and expand to the right. Archer stations don't make money, but they don't get destroyed. hope this makes run #1 less painfully slow for others trying it for the first time. Edited

Absolutely phenomenal game- I bought on steam initially and now I've easily sunk over an hour into the game before even noticing how much time had passed. The concept of the game is relatively straightforward; keep the crown, build up defenses, survive. The game has simple, but beautiful graphics in a pixelated, (maybe) 16-bit style, with an equally impressive soundtrack to back it. I would honestly pay more for this game, and that's (in my opinion) saying quite a lot about a mobile game.

I understand the need for a struggle for the game, but I think more diverse ways of gaining gold should be implemented. If it is only one new source, that's still a plus. Early on you don't get much gold from the traveler and his mule. Then if you cut down just one tree near his tent, he just vanishes. I don't understand achievements that challenge you to survive till day 90 and so on when there are not enough ways to get gold. And yes there are rabbits and deer, but in the second level they're virtually extinct it seems. Edited

Yes this game is a premium game but what I like is once you buy the game that's it no more extra transactions on top of it, and I also love that you can play as much as you like and not feel guilty about not coming back for a couple days and has a pause and save so can play and stop whenever you like with out it being an inconvenience or punishment. Overall build, expand, find a ship and find a new land and along the way smash a few portals and aquire new mounts and explore. A must have game.
