February 6 2025--it's not syncing memories with the main server. None of the memories I've uploaded in the last 4 weeks have been added to the profiles of the people on FamilySearch so when I share files with loved ones--though they are marked as public it doesn't work This app is so helpful. It's getting easier to attach family history records to family members! Thanks! I love that I can see how I am related to other friends near me who also have the app open. What a fun update!

I've really enjoyed the ease and ability on this app to seek family info and attach sources. I find when my mind wanders I tend to open the app and work on tasks - sometimes so addicting I work on sources and names for hours! This most recent update though I'm not as fond with. My list of tasks has become very narrow, but I just found a setting to open up my search more broad as I like. I'm happy to be back helping on tasks from all over! Edited

Edit: The app is a lot less buggy since the last update. I've raised my rating to 4 stars 🌟 Old review: I love using the Family Search website on my computer. The app.... not so much. It's been very buggy for me. My family tree is basically nonfunctional in the app. When I try to edit or add people on my family tree it just says "an unexpected error has occurred." Sometimes it just exits the app entirely. Edited

Absolutely wonderful, invaluable resource. However, the recent UI update has made the app very difficult to use. I gabe myself a few months to get used to it and for y'all to patch things, but it has not gotten any easier to use. The UI was so simple and wonderful before, but now things are blocked out by enlarged text or reduced to a half inch of usable scroll-space while the rest of the screen is taken up by an unclosable message at the top of the screen.

I'm not sure if it's only a problem on Android operating systems or what, but this app crashes CONSTANTLY. I can't even look at a photo for more than 15 seconds before the app closes itself and resets me at the beginning of my tree. I love the layout and information I'm able to collect on my family, but generally, the performance of the app is so poor I find it hard to commit time to it anymore.
