Amazing experience! The Scripture brought to life in Jamaican Patois! I'm actually just starting to learn "Di Jamiekan Langwij", as Jamaican linguists refer to it, and have found this app to be extremely helpful in this regard, as well. The app is easy to use, and includes the entire New Testament, translated into "Patwa", and written according to the Cassidy JLU Writing system, as well as a delightful audio version, with lively voice-overs, and music too!! I love it!

I am a Jamaican and while the impetus of the app is good the app itself is a waste of time. This is poor patois. We speak far better and understandable patois. Many Jamaicns cannot READ patois, much less that which is used in this app. Example: instead of "uu" please use "unoo". I prefer "Jeezas" to the way it is spelt here. Please make changes which are more understandable.

I like the audio dramatization in some of the books, especially the Acts of the Apostles. Some times it is difficult to read but I can also listen. Thank you for your patience in creating something like this. Really cool.

This is foolishness. If this is meant to be a serious project, it is pointless. It is funny if that was the intent. Jamaicans don't talk like this normally. By that I mean, the style this is written in is that of comic relief. A lot of words are purposely misspelled for emphasis on how they sound which makes it harder to read. Some word need not be changed for them to be patios (Kom/come...). I read it for a laugh but not ot study or learn from. KJV a still di mu'os accurate word a Faada Gad.
