I've only just started reading, but many kanji don't have furigana when I need them. [...] Other than this major flaw, I love the app. Being able to easily show or hide the translation and switch furigana on/ off is super cool and helpful! (for the most part) EDIT: Firstly, I cannot switch the "Difficult kanji only" off inside that book since the option is "Not applicable to Beginner I level." Secondly, even after switching, the kanji still don't have furigana... thanks for replying, though 3 Edited

Turning that off should enable furigana for all words. Could you please send us an email at
[email protected] with a screenshot and we'll look into the issue. Thank you!

Unfortunately, I couldn't use this to enhance my Japanese language proficiency. This is only recommended for Intermediate level but not an absolute beginner like me.

Providing with a multiple levels based on your reading/listening skills, displaying each word's translation with its detailed dictionary information, narrated text, and bookmark function. Magnificent!

It's a great app that really supports my language-learning journey, allowing me to read engaging stories on my level, see any and all meanings when needed without effort and even listen to the story. You can also learn new words. I haven't explored all features yet, but this app is somewhat pay to use, with some free materials. This app is absolutely amazing and a must-have. Thank you for presenting us with this masterpiece. Edited

I absolutely love the user experience of this app, but there's just not enough content to justify the cost! With only a handful of stories at every level, I'll definitely run out soon. Surely there are some public domain stories or childrens stories that could be added without causing any copyright problems?

Thank you for your feedback! Our content team is working hard to add more content as quickly as we can. We manually translate each sentence and word in our lessons and edit the texts to make sure the words are at an appropriate level, which is why it takes a bit of time. We hope you can enjoy the free version of Yomu Yomu in the meantime!
