This game could be one of the best. As well as Sky Force Reloaded. However, progress is too slow. Playing the same levels over and over to progress is boring as hell. From what I can see, there are only like 10 levels? Upgrades are slow and take time to install. The game is fun, but there's other shoot em games that are far better. This one wins in the graphics department, but that's it.

Edit for 11-15-24 Wow, how did this games ad system go so wrong? When an advertisement pops up, I can't click out of the screen at all. I have to exit the game and close it just to keep playing. This goes for the free gifts ads as well and I don't even get the free gift. Graphics are great. Game play is easy to impossible. Sound good. Leveling up at the last 3/4 is expensive but gives you a chance to get better and change the difficulty levels which gives you mo $$

Fun in some ways but there were a few things that were annoying enough to be a deal breaker: the screen brightness/dims every time you lift your finger and my eyes get too sore to play. Also the difficulty ramps up way too fast for how long it takes too earn the upgraded needed to keep up. You'd need to spend several hours playing (and losing) just collecting stars that aren't worth enough and it starts to drag and get tedious. Stars clutter up the screen and make it hard to see enemy fire. Edited

This is so close to being a 5 star experience. But there are two major design choices which I find very perplexing. The first big one is no matter how many times I collect cards(As RARE as that already is) I always seem to get repeats! ...and I only have three cards. That's a bad sign. That gives the player less and less desire to keep playing. The second one, and it's virtually as big, is the grind. I don't mind a good grind to leveling up to add to the lasting value. But this is overkill. Edited

If you like 1942, then you'll like this game. 5-second ads pop out between games and if you'd like to double your stars (in-game currency) after you lose a life, you can watch a 30-second ad. 8 quarters is all it takes to buy the Ads Removal option and improve your gaming experience. This gets you the most bang for your 2 bucks as it gets rid of the ads, gives unlimited lives, allows you to collect free stars every 3 hours, and doubles your stars with a tap of a button (after losing a life).
