This app is horrible, there are plenty of other apps that do the same thing like comica video and they do it in 1/100th the time. The conversion is so incredibly slow BUT also the interface sucks, you can't change the filter or style you pick in the beginning and that's it.

I'm not sure that there are "plenty of apps that do the same", but I agree that comica video is somewhat similar. Our app is maybe slower at video generation, but it is due to much more complex processing pipeline (geometric transformations, background replacement, color filters, etc.) along with more control over output resolution and frame rate.

Overall the results ARE worth it. However, it would be MIGHTY dope if the videos continued to process in the background, like other editing apps, specifically so I can continue to use my device. Processing time on videos is somewhat painful, so the ability to use the device while processing would be a boon. Reply: Video Maker / Video Guru by InShot has a feature like this. Reply #3: I want to inform you that updated version 1.5 has been published that allows processing to be done while app is in background. The progress will be shown in the notification area (notifications must be enabled). Unfortunately, for some reason, processing will be significantly slower when it runs in background (4x slower on my device).

Sorry for the inconvenience. Did you try to open a video that you previously recorded with your device or to record it directly within the app? If that's working, maybe the videos that throw errors use some specific codecs, or maybe they are in the cloud and need to be downloaded first. Please contact us at

If I could give it 0 stars or even less than 0 I would, after I have suffer and download this app it will not upload video, don't download this app it is a waste of time and data, I hope Google play store removes this useless app

Video export is very slow, it takes more than 1 hour to save a 5 minute video. Please speed it up so that the video can be saved in 2 to 3 minutes...

The app processes frames from input video on the device so that it can be slower on older or lower-end devices. To speed up the process, you have two options: decrease output framerate (fewer frames to process) and decrease output frame size (fewer pixels to process in each frame).
